Class of 2027 Malachi Miller is Strictly Business

Miller Time

imageClass-of-2027, Malachi Miller, from New York, is no different than other players his age vying for early attention. And they’re no better than him either. He’s an overachieving student at P.S. 48, receiving a school award for reading over 100 books within a year.

As a point guard, Miller has broad court vision and ability to control the game’s pace. He’s must reduce his turnovers by avoiding unnecessary fouls. Sometimes he reaches with his hand instead of sliding and sprinting to turn the ball handler from the driving lane.

The first grader is definitely motivated since forced to hold the fort. He’s raised in a single-parent household by his mother, who he wants to be proud of him. She played basketball too except Miller began hooping sooner.

“My son is respectable and coachable. Kids, teachers and coaches love him. He’s very dedicated whether it’s learning something new on the court or reading,” said Miller’s resilient and relentless Mother.
