Eight is Enough  

Amare Gaskin is an 8-year-old spot up shooter out of New York.

This Brooklyn wonder has great form when knocking down an open jump shot, making a defensive stop or feeding a teammate a strong pass.

Gaskin attends P.S. 172 and is a top student, earning A’s and B ‘s.

Like his favorite players, Carmelo and Curry, Gaskin lives in the gym. He is perfecting his drive to the basket and harnessing his emotions to energize his game.

While attending 8U AAU Nationals, Gaskin averaged 5 steals per game.

Gaskin relaxes off the court, spending time with family and friends.

The University of Kansas is Gaskin’s dream college, where he hopes to lead the Jayhawks to numerous victories.

If an NBA career is not possible, Gaskin wants to enter the field of dentistry or communications.

Gaskin has high self- esteem, and believes that through hard work, realistic goals can be reached.
