Will she be draft-eligible, hear her name called by the WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, and make the roster?

2024 class 5’8” Dekeira Clay resides in Kansas, nicknamed The Sunflower State, and has big dreams of becoming a future WNBA star.

She’s scheduled to compete for Lady Prime Kansas on the Under Armour circuit this spring and summer.

Long-haired, artistic Clay racks up straight A’s at Curtis Middle School, and next year, she’ll tryout for the high school varsity basketball team.

Dekeira, left-handed, tracks down a full ride to UCLA and enjoys running, music, and shopping as hobbies.

Following college, Clay could play for the Los Angeles Sparks, clothed in purple, gold and teal, at the Staples Center.
