The Difference Maker: 2025 Isiah Cunningham (WA)

A Different Type of Specimen

32B7DF25-061E-412A-874C-A0AE1597653BBlossoming amidst two citified basketball hotbeds, Seattle and Portland, c/o 2025 Isiah Cunningham — a versatile and well-conditioned 6’1” shooting guard from Washington — might easily be Tacoma’s next hoop star.

Isiah’s name ring bells not only in his trendy city, but also on the clangorous AAU circuit and camp scene. He represents Rosecity Rebels and, occasionally, suits up for unbeaten SuperFriends. Scouts noted his noticeable team skills and individual competence at several talent showcases.

Cunningham gets a kick out of learning, and he brings in a 3.4 touchstone from Cedarcrest Middle School. Worthy of a starting position on any choice varsity roster, his high school preferences are Fedway and Eastside Catholic.

Imagine if he captured a NCAA Division-I tournament. USC, Baylor, Hampton, UCLA, and Texas complement his playing style. What college may offer him a scholarship… and will he win March Madness?

Basketball as an art form is a convivial vehicle that every so often leads to national titles, educational opportunities as well as successful careers. Under those circumstances, he desires to acquire a bachelor’s degree in engineering and then become an aerospace engineer at NASA.
