MSE Has No Idea About The State of Youth Basketball Because We’ve Never Walked In Your shoes- Lie
Updated Nov 28th, 2012
BASKETBALL CAMPS – BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT
MSE is an online media company providing internet exposure for kids who desire to play college basketball and reach the NBA. In addition, we created a camp to attract the best talent for this purpose.
OBSTACLES IN YOUTH BASKETBALL ARE DESIGNED TO OVERCOME
Did camps we attended need improvement? Yes. But, we didn’t give up in no shape, form or fashion. The proof is in various camps we brought our kid’s to, and now who can better tell you about youth camps than us?
MSE IS FLY BY NIGHT
Within just three years we attended eight (8) Adidas Phenom camps: Three (3) regionals in New York, one (1) in New Jersey, one (1) in Dallas, TX, one (1) in North Carolina and two (2) nationals in San diego, CA. We made it our business to attend camps to avoid missing a beat, and to have first hand knowledge of the situation. As camps improved its services, we kept coming to show off our players developmental progress.
Although, our boys grew up in the inner city it was hard to label us ” Fly By Night.” It bothered me that a camp director told my friend from Queens, NY “you are fly by night”, after he complained about a lack of competition. That night, I google the term ‘Fly By Night’ and realized exactly what he meant, and decided that wouldn’t be us. DO NOT BE FLY BY NIGHT
WHO IS MIDDLE SCHOOL ELITE
What makes anyone think they could afford to bypass MSE camps? We aren’t asking you to do anything we haven’t done already. If you happen to know something we don’t know, kindly enlighten us. (Maybe your son is 7 feet with a free pass to the league, if so good luck). If your’e simply lazy or non-interested in putting forth effort, we understand but suggest you get off your butt and into a gym to rebound the ball for your future pro, if not hauling him off to our camps.
MSE IS ABOUT MONEY
This idea couldn’t be further from the truth. We don’t regret having only two camps within three years (2010-2013), because our passion is media, though we uniquely bring you the best of both worlds. Skills and fundamentals is yours for the taking, but recognition isn’t promised or guaranteed.
MSE DOES TOO MANY CAMPS
We strive off scheduling less camps and greater exposure. While other camp/ tournament directors host dozens of events each year, they hardly put energy into player’s national exposure. We intend to help young unknown talent across the country, whether they attend our events or not.
MSE SHOULD DO PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS
We hated a website’s wall-blocking our kid’s exposure with no option except to pay and view certain content. Our site is totally free! I guess MSE is crazy for affording you this kind of exposure and and even crazier for dragging our ten year old son’s to plenty of camps in fifth through eighth grade.
There are other camps we attended such as the Jr All American camp, Hoop Scoop All-American camp, Adidas Phenom Camp, John Lucas Camp, Five Star Camp, Hoop Group camp and Pangos camp just to name a few. When people say we’ve went over board with attending camps, we look at them as being crazy.
THE MAJOR SET BACK
Parents and coaches don’t deceive your own intelligence by thinking you don’t have to make similar sacrifices as us. You say, “we’ll make it anyway” or “time will tell.” Well, we can tell you now that MSE player’s are above the rest in confidence.
Our goal is for you to be better than us by attending MSE CAMPS and experiencing the ultimate camp life. Any money generated at our camps is used for website maintenance. –Don’t be the enemy to your exposure!-
