MSElite 7th Graders
The MSE Maryland Mania Basketball Camp was a top notch regional event. New and familiar faces in grades 2nd through 8th emerged as young budding athletes. We bring you exclusive write up’s on some of the standouts and top performers in the building.
What made the MSE Mania Basketball Camp in Maryland a blast is each grade had the best players from Maryland, such as class of 2018, No.27 nationally ranked eighth grader, Myles Dread and for 7th grade, talented class of 2019, point guard Justin Moore, residing in Accokeek, MD. At camp, Moore displayed a performance, which earned him MVP honors his age group and the No. 1 spot on our upcoming MSE Top 100 National Player Rankings for class of 2019. A stone face, glassy eyed Moore had nothing on his mind, except battle. If you believed you were the best 7th grader in the region/state, regardless of height- think again. The MSE Camp was the ideal arena to fight it out and see who’s last player standing. With those available contestants, Moore stood out amongst all of them. Moore’s a smooth player with a nice feel for the game. He’s a good decision maker, who capitalizes on mismatches and disadvantages. He’s unselfish and sacrifices his shots to get teammates involved. However, Moore is a threat to basket and keeps opponents honest, beyond the perimeter. He also has a signature give & go move, and he moves good without the ball to create space for shot, before the ball rotates back. Since, Moore has experienced MSE exposure he can get a college scholarship, whether ranked or not. Look for Moore to feature at MSE Maryland Basketball Camp part two.
