Middle School Elite West Coast Top 20 Game

2021 Game: This was the first game to set off the event. Point Guard DJ Jackson played like the top 20 in the nation player that he is. It was Tyler Powell who made a big statement. Powell not only rebounded well, but hit the mid range jumper constantly, on top of his couple lay up. Definitely a top Forward in the west coast. Ben Shtolzberg was affective touching the paint and throwing his fancy, but accurate passes. Akoye Hudson and Noam Karu also played some good basketball.

Middle school Elite Class 2020

2020 Game: This was a very competitive game. The 2020 class is filled with talent in the west coast. 5’10 Wing/Forward Fred Burton was absolutely amazing. The kid played great on both ends of the floor. He hit jumpers after jumpers. Fred was great attacking the basket. Fred’s performance of the day wasn’t enough to hold off Paris Dawson to victory. Paris hit the free throw to win the game. Also, Jalen Reyes was tenacious on the offensive end. Reyes scored at will. Alex Wade and Maseo Refuerzo did a great job attacking the basket and making the defense work. Hercy Miller, DJ Davis, and Chibuzo Agbo also stood out in the game.

MSE Middle School Elite West Coast 2019

2019 Game: 2019 class kept the excitement going. EJ Jackson proved to be a top 10 player in the nation. EJ put on a show for the crowd. Makani Whiteside and Jordan Montgomery also played like national guys. Jacob Ray, Paul Bingaman, Onyeka Okongwo, and Dillon Depina were absolutely great to watch. They played hard and battled every possession. Also, Gianni Hunt and Javon Jones played well in the 2019 game. Can’t forget about deep shooting point guard Dominique Winbush.

MSE Middle School Elite Class 2018

2018 Game: The class of 2018 was a interesting group to watch. The game had so much talent and upside. Two guys that really stood out were 5’10 Point Guard Spencer Freedman and 6’6  Forward J’ Raan Brooks. Both of them looked really good. Freedman with his court vision and deep range. Brooks played good on both ends. 6’3 Guard Michael Feinberg was also an impact player. Payton Moore knock down shots and attacked the basket hard. Pierre Crockrell, David Atencio, and Tomas Soto were all studs at the guard positions.

Evaluation on all players coming soon.

It’s great that MSE’s West Coast rep gets to hype the kids on his 6th grade team at the events he hosts or co-hosts/represents. Not biased at all right folks??? Not to mention the honorable mention of other coaches kids even when there are more talented kids that could be talked about over them. I’ll say it again and I’m not the only one out there who feels this way.. IF you want to have a legit thing going on you can’t do it the way you are doing it…WE can see right through you.. IF you guys say Michael Feinberg one more time over kids WAY more talented, people aren’t gonna keep respecting what you do.

If you were at the 2020 game on saturday you would know theres no hype behind fred burton, it was even match ups on the floor for both teams, it was alot of talent there but I rather see fred burton vs. paris dawson any day….

I agree! there were no stats kept and most of the kids that were mentioned did not play as advertised. How are you comparing? I watched a kid knock down 30 foot 3’s and lead a comeback that sparked a 1 point win in the 2019 game and was not even mentioned. I also saw that there were kids mentioned that we complete non factors. What is the real goal because if it was recognizing the standouts amongst the best of the best that did not happen. I watched a kid rack up 13 blocks in the 8th grade game (13!!!!) against the best there is and he was not even mentioned? please find me someone else who can do that!

It sounds like some of you guys are really haters!!! All the kids did amazing and if the ones that were mentioned were the stand outs then that’s just that.. Don’t hate on these young men or undermine there talent because you think someone else should have been mentioned… Everyone will get there shine when it’s there time.. If you have a child that you think should have been here or that should have been mentioned maybe ur doing something wrong as the parent or coach…. Keeping it real…

    • Keeping it real!!!! says:

Some parents don’t get it! Ain’t no one hating on any kid. I’m happy that these kids get an opportunity to play in games such as this one, but don’t get it twisted some one these kids are not as good as he’s saying they were. Some are hold backs and still can’t dominant there grade class such as Michael Fienberg and many others. Shamika calling people haters ur probably one of those parents who doesn’t have a CLUE! U most have had a kid who played in the game because it appeared u took it personal and no one said any names in the post regarding there view on MSE’s West Coast Rep
