Before His Time
Class of 2024, Jordan Mabe from Kentucky is developing into an incredible athlete that reminds us of the Lopez twins. He’s determined to get better. Because Mabe previously attended the MSE North Carolina Camp with stitches in his foot, he automatically jumps to top five player in the country. And Mabe grew an inch since we last saw him and could grow to 6-7 — height runs in his family.
Here’s a quick breakdown of Mabe’s game:
Big man Mabe had a rough day 1 at camp; however, he felt a need to play seriously on day 2. His strengths are controlling the paint, running the floor on fast breaks, and taking up space on defense. Wiry Mabe clogged passing lanes with his long arms and leaped high to deflect shots. He’ll be a nightmare for opponents once his mind catches up to his body.
