Don’t Sleep on Kambala
Rising seventh-grade sensation, Kristaps “Angelo” Kambala from Las Vegas, Nevada, is young but way ahead of the curve in terms of foundation. In middle school, he made it to the national championship and had more playtime than other participating 6th graders.
Kambala has dual citizenship because he was born in Madrid Spain, Latvian and raised as a tough ballin’ American. Fortunately, Kambala wants to be first of his given last name to play in the NBA League. But — not before he tries out for the Latvian National team which competes in the FIBA World Cup and FIBA Euro basket.
After all, every male in Kambala’s family on his dad’s side has played professional sports to some degree. However, people in Kambala’s tight circle shared that “he’s a fun kid. Fun to watch but just fun in general. Very respectful and humble.”
A well known coach, Eddie, stated “Kambala trains very hard and with maximum effort.” Coach Davis Ellis explained “he’s a knockdown shooter and plays solid man-to-man defense.
Kambala will soon be atop where he rightfully belongs.
