Class-of-2022, Jalen Wells from Texas is a game changer when he’s locked in. He’s an excellent post defender against bigger, older, and stronger kids.
Young Wells, a seventh grader, attends Louie Welch Middle School where’s he’s a B grade student.
Although a shooting-guard, Wells is capable of playing all five positions depending on team needs. He’s a good ball handler, passer, rebounder and a mid range jump shooter. His IQ and aggressiveness improves each game.
Regarding height, Wells’ dad stands 6’4″ and his mother is 6’2″ so Wells could grow to be 6’4″-6’7″.
Juggling two sports, Wells hopes to play football at LSU or basketball at North Carolina. He’ll be a huge talent on the circuit soon.
