Soldiery Crittendon
2026 PG Jaylen Crittendon from San Antonio, Texas, is a benevolent passer and clutch player on and off the court.
Crittendon gleans knowledge at Metzger Middle School, amassing a 3.5 GPA.
Jaylen’s father, a former three-year U.S. Army basketball player, inspired him to partake in the competitive 5-on-5 sport.
Because his undaunted forerunner was wounded during action in Afghanistan, Jaylen receives onerous training instructions from Coach John Collin at the Champion Sportsplex.
Jaylen also resolved to perfect his craft opposed to showcasing his militaristic endowment as well as natural talent.
As a result, Jaylen lost hype momentum and then disappeared from the exposure map.
“He has encountered not being recognized.”
Nevertheless, after his stellar performance at the BallIsLife Jr. Camp in Colorado this past summer, sixth-grade Crittendon has regained the national spotlight.
And Jaylen seeks a full-ride scholarship to either Oklahoma State, Texas, or Baylor University.
War survival, character, and athlete-tips imparted to Crittendon inspirits him to be a devoted student athlete.
“. . . not an athlete student.”
