I heard Lance Jones, Jalen Jenning, Armaan Franklin(formally Andre Owens Elite), and a 6’1 kid out of Gary was joinig the George hill Rising Stars 5th grade team.
Wow, If thats true that team is gonna be loaded, they already have that I. Moore kid, who is a star in his own right. Saw Lance Jones, playing with all three of them at Toi Baylors event and they looked good together, not one of them was selfish with the ball.
Had a chance to see Lance Jones play at the Battle of the Boarders tournament, with George Hill Rising Stars, one of the most unselfish kids I have seen play. He played very well with that group of talented players, and helped lead them to the championship in the 5th grade division. I can only hope that he gets the opportunity to display his obvious love for the game. The following week I saw him play in the Indy Gardens Tournament against some top competention, and once again he did very well. All Ohio Red the top ranked team in 5th grade division know who Lance Jones is, he had a big game against them that had the crowd in a buzz.
The state of Illinois is absolutely loaded with talent in every class. 5’7 PG Collin Miller from Liberty, Ky class of 2017 Just came on the scene last summer but has alot of people talking, made a huge impression in North Carolina and in the nationals with MATTS Mustangs. Great penetrator, lighting fast with great ball handling skills. keep your eyes on this one.
Steven Holloway (H-Town) 5’9 PG from St.Lous Gateway Basketball club #6 ranked player in class of 2016 at the Jr Hoops Elite Showcase in Louisville Ky and a top 50 ranked player by NY2LASPORTS.COM will be there.
There are very talented people in Evanston, Illinois like Lance Jones, Dravon Claborn and julius Francellno. I they be there they are very talented boys. Julius and Dravon are class of 2018 Lance is class 2019 and plays up and does well I hope they could all come to the camp in Indiana.
Carlos Sandifer (Class of 2018) just competed in the Adidas Explosion Camp in Memphis over the weekend. The camp featured the best 8th graders (rising 9th graders) in the Memphis area. The only six grader invited to the camp,Sandifer is 5’8″ (PG/SG) type with a 6′ wingspan. His combine 40 meter time was 4.9sec. Sandifer can knock down the 3 ball. Great handles. He can guard 4 positions on the floor as well as play 3 positions on the offensive end. He led his team in scoring in the Adidas top 40 game and would have won the MVP, but his team lost on a last second shot. The Rivals scout at the camp stated,”Sandifer has unlimited potential.” Sandifer is currently the top rated 6 grader in Memphis.
Just heard about this camp being this close to home. Ty’Re Hutchins, 5’6″, class of 2018 from Terre Haute,IN will attend the camp next year. His postition is PG and was named MVP for Honey Creek Middle School 2011-2012 school year. He also played SF on AAU Jr Hoopers team. He is well rounded in the game and has a lot of potential.
