Good Or What

You walk into a gym and see a kid standing 6’2″ blocking shots and dominating the boards. One might think: “Wow! This kid has a strong low-post presence on the defensive end!” Then the kid grabs a rebound, goes coast to coast and scores after a between the legs cross that leaves his defender going the other way without him. He’s a defender’s nightmare. His name is Sammy Duffin. Sammy has one of the most complete games offensively and defensively in the West Coast’s class of 2018. He plays club ball with well known Nike California Supreme. Sammy will likely fill up the stat sheet in all categories. He can go scoreless and still be a dominating force on the floor. Sammy has really good size at the wing position. Duffin is a very unselfish player. He can put the ball on the floor, pass, rebound, knock down shots, and block shots. Playing at such a high level shows an obviously high basketball IQ. California Supreme 2018 usually plays up a division, but it doesn’t seem to bother Sammy’s performance on the court at all. It will be interesting to see his development on the court as time goes by.
