Lunden Taylor: Top Eighth Grader Center of California

Cen-Valley’s On The Map
Class of 2018, top sixty national player Lunden Taylor is from Chicago, but currently lives in Fresno, CA. His AAU team is Paul George Elite, a top program in the state.
In 2011, Taylor attended the MSE National Camp at Fordham University in Bronx, NY. Then, 5’5″, he showed a confidence shooting the ball that’s rare for kids his age. Today, the 5’8″ combo guard still has that shooter touch and high-IQ to get teammates better and involved. Not to mention, Lunden’s live-in-trainer is Dom (Neeko) Young, a former Fresno State standout who led the NCAA in three pointers in 1997. So, it’s apparent Luden will attend Fresno State, and look to break one more of Dom’s records, which is nine three-pointers in a game. Can Lunden land ten three’s in a single game? Will he lead the NCAA in three’s? However, Lunden’s a name to remember since being ranked No.47 on Future150.com; featuring on Chicagohoops.com and receiving praise from Youth1.com for his “Global Game”.
Central Valley Has More In Store
A player on the horizon is eighth grade Brandon Recek from Clovis, California. Recek’s a skilled 6-0 athletic guard, who attends Reyburn Intermediate school. This past weekend, he played on a local team and earned MVP honors at the Compton Magic tourney in Los Angeles, CA. Recek and Talyor plan to join forces for a dynamic 1-2 punch on Paul George’s squad this summer. They both are slated for the west coast Pangos camp next weekend. In any case, it’ll be four to five years until either one signs a national letter of intent.
