Class-of-2022, Michael DeWayne Thomas Jr., better known as MJ, is a dynamic small forward from Texas.
12-year-old Thomas is a lock-down defender, with a high basketball I.Q. He can skillfully bring the ball down court and demonstrate excellent form and finish when executing jump shots.
Thomas, who is projected to reach a height of 6’7″, tirelessly works on improving his footwork.
Thomas attends Robert Lee Middle School, where he maintains a 2.8 GPA.
Thomas, during this basketball season, was acknowledged as Farmer Camp MVP, Wildcat Camp All Star, Jr. NBA Summer League Champion and Basketball Means More defensive player of the year.
When away from the court, Thomas relaxes with friends and family and enjoys watching ESPN.
Thomas’s dream college is Duke University, where he plans to be a defensive leader for the basketball team and earn a degree in communications. If an NBA career is not in his future, Thomas will embark on a career as a sports broadcaster in Texas.
Rising seventh grader Thomas is a patient young man, with a positive attitude and believes that much can be achieved through hard work.
