Lil Kyrie
Class-of-2025, Keyshawn Summerville from Michigan is a crafty combo guard. The quick floor general has excellent ball handle and assortment of moves to finish inside or out. His defensive energy is outstanding as well.
Summerville must improve his ability to finish equally with his left hand, which he’s working on now.
Summerville, a 3.1 GPA student-athlete, attends Winans Elementary where he’s the teacher’s helper and enthusiastic about his studies. As a result, Summerville was named Student of the month two times this year.
In 2015 and 2016, Summerville was selected as the MSU Tom Izzo MVP. Also, he was MVP of the 2016 Grand Rapids Storm Classic MVP. He averaged a modest 14 points and 7 assist.
In July, Keyshawn met his idol, Kyrie Irving, who told him to “never give up on his dreams & to keep working hard.”
Summerville’s parents jointly commented, “He’s a very humble kid that loves to work hard at everything that he does, he has lots of friends and is always helpful to others.”
Keyshawn’s is projected to be 6’1 to 6’3″ in height since his father, a former college player, is 6’2″ and mother 5’8″.
At the end, Summerville hopes to attend U of M or MSU and study sports management.
