Should Sports Scouts Sort AmAtUers?

AmAtUer or 5 Star?
Scouts and coaches have sorted certain athletes to entertain ticket holders since James Naismith created basketball in 1891.
And for the past decade we’ve touted pre-high school student athletes for scouts and coaches to sort, while parents capitalized as AAU administrators.
Now, it’s time to uplift not only amateur players/parents but also high school/college scouts and coaches. They all deserve praise and recognition, not only “AmAtUer Pros” and their selfie-posting begetters.
Why should (not) scouts or coaches sort amateurs?
Scouts or coaches can contribute to AmAtUers feeling complacent, self-centered, and self-entitled. Furthermore, amateurs are not professional competitors.
Why should amateurs sort scouts such as ESPN instead?
ESPN can boost inept participants’ value or stock to that of a precious high school “5-Star,” “One-and-Done NCAA Prospect,” and “NBA lottery Pick (like Marvin Bagley!).”
