Draftee Tye

Class of 2023 Tye Cunningham was born and raised in Arkansas like Scottie Pippen, Joe Johnson and Mike Conley.

Determined to become a NBA player, Tye sacrificed playing cross country and football.

Last year he overcame rigorous academics to accumulate a 3.5 GPA at Elmwood Middle School, where his teammates had selected him co-captain of their basketball team.

A training coach voiced “Tye is a good student of the game and has a great work ethic.” 

It would be sweet sounding recruiting music to Tye’s ears if the University of Michigan were to offer him an athletic scholarship. 

Twelve-year-old Cunningham also desires to be an interindustry musician.
