Stalwart Silas 

Last month 309 Sports interviewed an impassioned Illinois guardwho suited up with his AAU team MSBL (Mentorship Skills Basketball League) in a scrimmage competition.

Silas Lewis, a 7th grader exhibiting a phenomenal skill set and mindset, ranks MSE no.5 nationally.

Lewis attends Glen Oak Middle School, but will transfer next year.

In his new highlight video, Silas exhibits a quick step-back jumper, bewildering crossover dribble and relentless attack layup.

309 Sports asks Silas “what kind of pressure is on you being a rising star?”

“It feels good. . . I can’t explain it. . . I gotta preform every game… they look for me to,” replied Silas.
